A trip to the genre’s past and future. A tour through two historical times in a Port environment: from the time of immigrants’ arrival to the present and the future.

Featured by four leading artistic figures for the first time together in a tango show.

Madero Tango opens its new show “Puerto Buenos Aires”, a top level dinner-show, thought to please and delight its local and international clientele. The proposal focuses on two historical times of Buenos Aires city culture, the past and the future in the voice of two celebrated tango singers: Raúl LAVIE & Patricia SOSA, accompanied by the famous Argentine ballet dancer Maximiliano GUERRA and internationally renowned tango dancer, Mora GODOY.

All of them are leading artists who, under the choreography and direction of Gustavo ZAJAC, feature a trip from the Old to the New Harbour, both of them archetypes of the tango world, through the emotions which inspired these two historical times: nostalgia and renovation. The show tours along the spots which influenced tango lyrics. The trip continues up to the contemporary and modern times and envisages musical blends which, hand in hand with technology, foresee a mixture at digital and electronic times.

This way, tango becomes the undisputable night star: from the time of Immigrants, that one of Gardel, Lepera, Discépolo and Cátulo Castillo to Piazzola’s and electronic tango. The subtle and seducing rhythm of the show alternates, in an innovating way, with other rhythms such as Rock, Malambo, Flamenco, Folklore & Jazz. The stage direction of the tango show combines with the guaranteed pleasure of excellent gastronomy and a long list or Argentine best wines.

The participation of extraordinary ballet dancer Maximiliano Guerra dazzles the public with his solos, of tango and other genres.

While Mora Godoy dances “La Yumba”, “Evaristo” and other traditional suburban and modern compositions.

Legendary themes such as “Volver” (Be back), “Mi Buenos Aires Querido”(My beloved Buenos Aires), “Niebla de Riachuelo” (Riachuelo’s Mist) among others, will be interpreted by Raúl Lavié while Patricia Sosa will surprise us with “Nostalgia”, “Pasional” , “Corazón Mirando al sur” (A Heart looking South) .

The duos are present with the couple Guerra & Godoy in the world première of the dance “Adiós Nonino” (Goodbye Nonino) and with Lavié & Sosa in a magnificent and lively theatrical interpretation of a potpourri of tango and rock lyrics.
